Valley Vineyard’s Katie has retired

Katie has delivered her last litter and will enter retirement with her forever guardian family. Katie has been a very special mama, dearly loved by us and her guardian family, and it’s time for her to rest and just enjoy life! We’re thankful for the three litters of beautiful pups that Katie brought into the world! We love you Katie.

Katie wrapped her paws around our hearts with her sweetness when she was a young pup! We just had to keep this one. Tears were shed when she passed all her testing because it was time to place her in a guardian home. (I want them ALL, but family says there has to be a limit!)  Katie happily lives with a great guardian family in Salem where she is so loved.

Katie loves relaxing with her humans, watching her pop do yard work, and enjoys watching a little TV. She comes running at her favorite commercial! She loves laps and stays close by as she follows you around the house. She is gentle and loyal and very obedient. So obedient, that her guardians take her regularly to fairs and senior center activities and can trust she will stay calmly on her blanket watching without need of a leash, even with all the crowds walking by and strangers coming to greet her. She is patient with small children and works her way into the heart of everyone she meets. Katie has produced outstanding litters, and many of her pups have become therapy dogs.
