Here’s our guardian pup, Emmett, now eleven weeks old, a future sire for our breeding program. He was carefully selected due to his excellent genetics and temperament and he’ll grow to be around 25 lbs. He’s crate trained and sleeping through the night. Doing well at potty training. He’s doggy-door trained and most importantly, he is gentle, quiet and so loving and affectionate. He loves to play, but he’s also a snuggler and is on the lower energy side. He’s a good mixture of confident, affectionate, fun and calm. Here’s a link to our guardian program to learn more. We’re looking for someone that has time to raise him right, continue socializing and training him, and of course, love him for life! There’s a video of Emmett on our Instagram page.
FUTURE LITTERS
We have one litter on the way, and it’s not too early to get on our reservation list for our upcoming winter and 2027 puppies! We make our best plans and then wait for one of our girls to go into heat. We make announcements on this page as soon as we have a litter on the way. It’s not too early to complete an application and join our reservation list.
We’re so excited that Nellie is in heat and we’re now planning for a litter of red and caramel puppies to arrive in early December! We don’t have very many standard size litters anymore, and so we’re extra excited about Nellie and Grady’s (AKA Gus) mating. We’re now taking reservations for this litter. Great Christmas idea for the family, and though the pups won’t be ready to go home at Christmas, we’ll have pictures and postings so the pup’s new families can watch the pups growing up. We’ll hold a puppy open house in early to mid January. The puppies will grow to be around 50 pounds and will make great companions, and/or therapy or service dogs.

We’ll be watching the following mamas to go into heat this fall and winter and we’ll make decisions and post information here as any “dates” occur. Below are the pairings we have planned. Our decisions on breeding are based on our reservation list, along with timing of heat cycles.
Once a mating has occurred, we reach out to our reservation list first to confirm the timing and parents is right for them, then we post any remaining openings on this page. We’d love to help you bring a puppy home to be your therapy dog, service animal, and new family member!
Yes, you choose your pup (choices are made in order of our reservation list) and puppy selections are done at around seven weeks of age.
We’re proud of our boys. . . . .They don’t play a role in the raising of the pups, but they’re hand selected because we know that their genetics and excellent temperaments pass down to the offspring.
Complete an online application and let us know what you’re looking for. We’ll respond ASAP to discuss how to get added to our reservation list. Once we’ve reviewed your application, we ask for a $500.00 reservation deposit to hold your spot. Then, we’ll reach out to you once we have a litter on the way, to make sure that the litter and the timing works for you before adding you to a specific litter list. GUARDIANSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Occasionally, we have a guardianship opportunity whereas our selected guardian gets to become the forever home for a pup we decide to hold back for our breeding program. If you live in the Portland vicinity or one of the outlying areas, have dog experience, and the time and energy to give toward raising one of our puppies, please read about our guardianship program.
You can complete a puppy application and indicate “guardian” if you want to be considered. Tell us about yourself and the size and timing that you’re most wanting, and we’ll respond within 24 hours.
