June 28, 2026 – Here are some more random pictures we took of them yesterday. 🙂

June 27, 2026 – This is a big post! That’s because a lot happened this week to update you on, along with newest pictures and information on their temperament testing and the personalities traits we are starting to see. We’ve posted their weights from the vet on their individual pictures.
Every single pup is now fetching and retrieving! I think this is a first for us here. They’re all very smart. They’re agile too! They figure things out at this young age and set out to accomplish things. For example two of the pups, Tylor and Tessa, can quickly scale the wall when they’re all together playing in the playroom, so that they can obediently use the litter box in the pen if the play room litter box isn’t available. Several of them learned to easily scale their way in and out of the pen, but we’re thankful that they stay in the pen when they know that’s where they’re supposed to stay. They stay in the pen all night, even though we know they could help themselves out if they wanted to. Teddy, who is the smallest pup, was the first to learn how to get out of the pen. He would get excited to get closer to us when he knew a meal was being prepared.
The pups are quiet most of the day. They play independently in the play area and we can trust them alone, knowing they’ll use the litter box and play nicely. This doesn’t happen with most litters! This overall, has just been a great litter to raise. They’ve been so easy for us. Seriously.
Here are their pictures at seven weeks old!

All of the pups did great on their car rides this week, nobody got car sick. 🙂 They all did very well at the vet and everyone is in excellent health and there were no surprises. No overbites, no underbites, and all were vaccinated and microchipped. They are all wormed and are almost ready for their forever homes! For their temperament testing, every pup shows intelligence, confidence and affection. They all love people and absolutely live for human affection and attention. They’re each right where we would expect them to be to go on to become great therapy dogs, service animals someday, or just great family companions. They have just the right amount of submissiveness without showing timidity. They are eager to please, as we always expect!
The pups are all very food and treat motivated, and that’s a great thing. So important for training and also for their overall health maintenance. We’re not seeing any pup that is high energy, they’re all pretty mellow. A great litter! They play hard and chill out as soon as they are picked up. And they wear out easily and settle down quickly with a toy or bone. They’ve learned to settle in a crate for a short nap each day. Some days they are not consistent, and someone will cry for a bit, but we don’t give in. They will get better and better at the crate each day.
They’re all walking nicely on a leash. That’s quite a feat. Pups don’t mind the leash and enjoy they’re time prancing around the house and the patio.
For temperament testing, all of the pups consistently scored as expected on socialization, following, dominance, sensitivity and submission. The pups are all showing to be highly adaptable, people oriented, easy to train, rather quiet, not demanding, and with the right balance of confidence and submission.
Some individual notes on personality: please know that personality traits are only starting to come out at this age. Their new environments and the home atmosphere and training style and calmness of their new humans will play a lot into who they become as adult dogs. They all have a solid foundation to be a great dog for life!
Tessa – So sweet. She is very focused on humans over play or treats. She will just sit at our feet patiently waiting to be picked up at times when they others are chasing and wrestling. Tessa, I think, is more wanting to observe first before diving in. Not the leader of the pack. Not alpha. She’s not shy, but she’d rather watch for a bit.
Tanner – Tanner learned to bark at only about two weeks old. He was a vocal little pup for the first several weeks, seemed to be talking to us when we walked in the room. We thought it was so cute! We don’t hear him bark for attention or to alert anymore. He’s a quiet, sweet pup. He was last to learn to sit for attention, and perhaps the most upset when put in a crate, but he’s got it now! He might have been more sensitive early on, but he’s a champ now. His temperament testing showed him to be just as confident as the rest. He’s just probably not ever going to be an alpha or the leader. More of a follower for sure.
Teddy – Seemed to catch on super quickly from the beginning. It often seems the smallest pups in the pack are the most agile, intent and smart. My theory is that they had to be that way from the very beginning to get fed as the other pups could easily push them off a teat. You have to be super smart and intentional to keep up with all the bigger pups. Teddy is affectionate and loving, just as they all are.
Timmy – Timmy is very focused and studies us and learned quickly to sit for attention and for treats. He’s almost always one of the first to sit. He wants to please and he has these intense eyes, focused on us, as he waits patiently for his turn.
Tommy is pretty much Mr. Chill. He plays hard and loves to chase, but seems to be the first one to just relax with a bone. He’s calm and quiet and pretty much a “whatever” pup. Tommy also is more of a pack leader. Probably most eager to be the leader and the first to jump in on a new thing.
Tylor loves affection, learns quickly and he too loves to please. A sweetheart! (I think this statement is true of every single pup in this litter!)
June 23, 2026 – Just for fun, here’s a picture of Tilly and Tucker at seven weeks old.

Interesting, based on these early photos, Tilly got a little darker and Tucker got a little lighter. You can see where the pups get their blue eyes from.
June 21, 2026 – Tilly and Tucker’s puppies are doing well! This past week, we’ve been working hard at sitting for all attention and learning to quiet down in a crate for short naps. The crate training still has some work to do, as expected! We started leash training them this past week as well. They are walking very well on a leash through the house and around the patio. Each day we work on some alone time in a crate, walking on a leash and we are always focusing on good behaviors, like sitting for any attention. When we say “Puppy come!,” they come running. Another important obedience step. They are now so good at using the litter box in the large play area, that we can let them play for an hour without any accidents in the play room. They’re smart! Below are the photos we took of them today, now six weeks old!
On June 26, they’ll go to the vet for their final exams, and get their first vaccinations and microchips. They’ll get weighed and wormed, as well. They’ll also have temperament testing done this week. We’ll post as much information as we know at the end of the week. For now, we can definitely tell you some size differences: Tanner and Teddy have continued to be the smallest. Our guess is they will both be around 40 pounds. Tommy, Timmy and Tessa are largest, with Tommy consistently being the largest, since birth. Won’t surprise us if Tommy gets to 55 or more pounds when full grown. Tessa seems tall and lean. We’ll see what the vet’s scale says. Tylor seems to be right in the middle and will probably be around 45 pounds.

June 15, 2026 – Tilly and Tucker’s puppies are fully eating independently now. They are growing in confidence every day, and the open house this weekend added a lot to their socialization. They are all doing very well! Their coats are really starting to fill in and we think they’re looking cuter every day. This week, we are working on crate training, “manding” (sitting for attention) and being around vacuum cleaners. We continue sound and blow dryer conditioning (important that we condition them for being at the groomer!) and we give them holding and snuggle time daily to continue their bonding to us humans. Here they are, at over five weeks old!

June 8, 2026 – The pups are growing so fast and we’re getting pretty busy over here! Every pup is doing great. They are pretty conditioned at this point to various noises and experiences. They regularly experience blow dryers, storm sounds, vacuums and more.
Our goal is to introduce them to as many sounds and experiences as we can at this young age, before their first fear stage sets in (anywhere from five to seven weeks of age.) They’ll go through various fear stages throughout puppyhood, but as we all keep introducing them and comforting them throughout puppyhood, they will grow to be amazing, anxiety-free, confident and social pups.
This weekend is the open house, and that will add to their important socialization! They are calm, relaxed pups and growing in confidence every day. They’re beginning to bond more with us, as their mama becomes a little more distant. They are watching us and coming to us and they settle in our arms immediately when we pick them up. They’re doing well at using the litter box, and soon, we start working on “manding” (sitting for any attention). Here they are at over four weeks old!

May 31, 2026 – Tilly and Tucker’s puppies are three weeks old now and they are beginning to hear. They’re using the litter box more and more consistently and they took to it quickly once we put it in their pen. They figured out there’s a special place to do their potty business, and they are learning to respect their sleep and play areas. This will make it easier for full potty training when they get to their forever homes. We are now playing “scary” sounds during the day to condition them to be anxiety free. Daily now they listen to sounds of fireworks, thunderstorms and more to help them become so accustomed to it, before their first fear stage sets in. We are also blow drying them pretty regularly for more conditioning. They are relaxed and calm, and they’re right where we want them to be. They’re not chasing and playing much yet, but it won’t be long before the fun starts! Here they are, getting cuter every day.

May 25, 2026 – Tilly and Tucker’s puppies are able to see! They still mostly just sleep and eat, but when we pick them up, we often get them to open their eyes. Their pigmentation in their paws and nose is darkening still. Today, as we do most days, they had massages and baths. We also introduced them to the blow dryer. They are so calm and relaxed already from all of the conditioning they’ve been through. Today, some of the pups are starting to stand or even take a few steps. They’ll be chasing and wrestling soon. Each phase is special, and we enjoy them each day. Here they are more than two weeks old! On this Memorial Day, we’re very thankful for our veterans, and we’re thankful for Tilly and her pups, too.

May 18, 2026 – Tilly and Tucker’s puppies continue to thrive and gain weight. Everyone is doing well! The pups are already getting really relaxed in our hands as we massage and hold them. This is all part of their conditioning, along with the daily bio-sensor steps. Today they also had baths under warm running water. They love it. Touch is our only way to connect with them at this young age, as they can’t see or hear yet. Their eyes will be opening soon though! Some of their pigmentation is starting to darken, something that starts to occur at this phase.
We welcome to this world our wonderful Tilly and Tucker’s “T litter,” Tessa (girl), Tanner, Teddy, Timmy, Tommy, and Tylor! Here are the photos we took of them today, at ten days old.

May 13, 2026 – We’re excited that Tilly and Tucker’s puppies are here and they are beautiful! We have one girl and five boys, red and caramel colors with some white markings. The pups arrived with the healthiest and biggest weights we’ve had to date. Tilly is an amazing mama and is nursing well and very attentive to her pups. It was an uneventful, fast delivery and all of the pups were born the morning of Friday, May 8. Here’s our first photos of the litter, at five days old. We’ll be posting updates on this blog about once a week, and as the pups grow, we’ll be posting videos of them on our Instagram page as well. Here’s the link .
