If you complete our online application, you’ll typically receive a reply within 24 hours. Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. We limit our time doing administrative work, so that we can keep puppy snuggles going each and every day and to make sure every single puppy is well cared for.

We have checklists daily for each pup, and a team of us that take shifts from morning til evening seven days a week, to make sure that every puppy has been held enough, and has received everything he/she needs to be conditioned through each and every important week of development until they leave our home.

Our family consists of us, Mary and Paul, and our “kids” (now all adults) along with extended family and friends that have joined us to work with the pups. We are about 45 minutes west of Portland in a neighborhood close to the many vineyards of this region.

We breed only authentic, Australian Labradoodles, and we ensure all the thorough testing is done to make sure we can stand behind the quality of each pup we sell. We believe in a holistic approach to raising puppies and we use the Bio-Sensor program and the Puppy Culture way of raising pups.

Each pup is loved individually in our home and exposed to all the sights and sounds of a typical busy house as they hang out with us. Each pup is well socialized by the time they leave us, through our open houses, our staff and family and friends, and all the puppy lovers that are in and out of our home on a regular basis.

Some of the most important work we do here with the puppies is the bio-sensor program.  And we do weeks of emotional conditioning to prepare them to be outstanding dogs for life, and then crate training to help them transition more easily into their forever homes. This is all super important. As someone that understands trauma recovery, my heart early on became geared toward raising pups that would become dogs that bring healing, comfort and therapy to others. Our first labradoodles, Molly and Haley, helped me through my own healing and recovery, leading me to become passionate about raising therapy pups, realizing how they have been such a gift to our entire family! They were at my side loyally throughout my own trauma, and recovery, and really started all that we do. And that work has only grown here!
We have pups out of almost every litter that go on to become a therapy or service companions.
We have had our pups go on to work in schools, nursing homes, court systems, and fire and rescue. They have been adopted to help with PTSD, grief, and all kinds of special needs in children and adults. I know how our labradoodles have brought so much comfort and therapy to me through my process of abuse recovery and healing, and as long as we continue our work here, we’ll be raising pups that have all the conditioning and temperament to become great service and therapy companions.
Often our pups go on to further training by professionals to certify them for special service work.  It’s at the heart of what we do, to see our pups bringing comfort and healing to others that need it.
How we got started

After we had to say good-bye to our aging Golden Retriever, “Emma,” we thought we could not replace this loving, faithful, obedient dog. We wanted an “Emma” again without having to deal with all the shedding! After looking at many of the breeds available, we learned that Australian Labradoodles have all the love and loyalty of a lab or golden retriever, yet without all the shedding, the two to three years of puppyhood, or all the genetic health issues. And then we realized the Australian Labradoodle was so genetically sound due to all of the high standards of the breed, and had the added high intelligence and antics of the Poodle.

Knowing we would have our next dog for many years to come, we decided it would be worth the investment to own such a high quality dog with such healthy genetics, and a great coat and temperament. We met our “Molly,” adopted her, and we were hooked. Soon after, we adopted a buddy for Molly, our mini “Haley,” and the following year, after we received breeding rights from the breeders involved, we started our breeding program. We found this breed to be very easy to train and we never experienced all of the typical frustrations of raising a puppy!

As a total dog lover my whole life, and after decades of rescue dogs and other purebreds, I decided this breed is absolutely the best. Now we raise pups to bring joy, comfort and therapy to others, even to those that typically have allergies to almost every other breed. We support our local shelter and we’re proud of our years of rescuing dogs, and we’re thankful to those that continue in that important work. But I also know that rescuing a pet isn’t for everyone, and especially difficult for those that have allergies, are in trauma recovery, or have anxiety and need a great companion, therapy or service dog.

Our dogs are members of our family or live with loving, carefully selected guardian families; never in a kennel, and each dog and pup is loved as a member of a forever family. We practice:
