It’s been a very long time since we’ve had black standard size labradoodle puppies! We now welcome our largest girl; Brickhavens Abigail (aka Abby) to help us bring this back to our program. We love the black labradoodles because they’re not nearly as common, always looks clean (even after romping in the dirt!) and we’re excited to be breeding that color again. Our beloved, first labradoodle, “Molly,” seen below, had that same, gorgeous black coat and drew attention everywhere we went.
Well, here’s our new girl, Abigail. After searching a lot of breeders for the right one to add to our program, we carefully selected her from Brickhaven Labradoodles. We had researched and waited for the right breeding girl to add to our program. The right genetics, coat, temperament and health standards, all had to be there.
Abigail is smart, loving, affectionate, gentle and obedient. She’s was selected by us out of her litter of 15 pups (!) due to her loving, affectionate nature that stood out above the others. She loves her humans and is so loyal. She passed all of her extensive health testing and her genetics, coat and temperament bring all the right qualities into our breeding program. At 6o pounds, she is a black beauty and a gentle giant. Can you tell we’re excited? You can see Abby on our Instagram page, at 6 months old, when she just couldn’t stay away from the baby pups we had here. Here she is, sweet Abby!
