April 21, 2025 – Daisy and Oakley’s puppies are home and we’re hearing really good reports! We’re proud of this litter and we know they are in great, loving homes. This makes the good-bye a lot easier for us. We’re thankful to Daisy and to the families that trusted us with their new family member. Because of these puppies, and their new families, we are able to donate $900.00 to Amazima Ministries to help some kids in Uganda to eat, learn, and LIVE. Here are the pictures of going home day!

April 11, 2025 – Daisy and Oakley’s are growing and preparing for their forever homes. They are all doing so well, and we’re so pleased with exactly where they’re at! They’ve made so much progress with crate training, leash training, socialization, sound conditioning and they are confident and intelligent. Everyone of them will make a wonderful companion or service dog to help make the world a little better. 🙂 They’re completely used to thunderstorms, vacuums, blow dryers, baths, fireworks and more. They had their temperament testing done today and all scored well and we have made some notes on their personalities and weights below. They all did great at their vet appointment, no problems, as we expected!
Here are the pictures we took of them, almost seven weeks old!

April 4, 2025 – Daisy and Oakley’s puppies are growing fast and they are almost six weeks old! The time here is flying by. It’s been really nice to have a really small litter, allowing us to get to know each individual puppy better, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say we’ve grown quite attached to each of them. This is the hard part of breeding puppies! There’s always a day to let them go. The pups are eating on their own now, two to three meals a day, with mama staying nearby and nursing them occasionally. She’s spending her nights apart from them now, which is the first step in separating them. The puppies are totally relaxed and conditioned now to all types of “scary” noises and they are nonreactive to startling sounds and new experiences. Something that is our whole goal with each litter! Next week they’ll have their temperament testing done, along with the vet examinations, all signs of our time with them is coming to an end. They’ve been taking naps in crates now, and there’s still some fussing, but each day gets a little better.
They’re doing well at leash training now too. Each day we see lots of progress as we watch them develop.
They love us humans and live for attention and affection. Another thing we always want to see with our pups. This means they will fiercely bond to their humans, stay close by and desire to please their new pack leaders. They track and follow us, watching us closely, just as we expect from any well-raised labradoodle. Each of them will make wonderful therapy dogs, service animals or just wonderful companions and family members to the humans they go home to!
They still regularly get baths, followed up by loud blow drying. Another conditioning step we do many times a week. They’re pretty relaxed and used to be touched everywhere and even loud shop vacs don’t startle them. Here are the pictures we took of them today. It was a little tough trying to get all three pups to look at the camera and focus at the same time. It was so fun trying though! We’re in love each of them.

March 25, 2025 – Daisy and Oakley’s puppies turned four weeks old! All are doing great. They are using the litter box almost entirely now in their pen, they are conditioned to “scary” sounds and baths and blow dryers. They still love mama but are beginning to bond to us humans more, and they come over to us and want to be picked up. They’re coming out for playtime every day now and they’re not really chasing or playing with toys much yet, but they love to climb and explore. We’ll post a video of them play as they become more active. They are getting cuter every day! Here are the pictures we took of them this week.

March 19, 2025 – Daisy and Oakley’s puppies are becoming more alert and active. They still sleep a lot! This is because mama Daisy attends to their every squeak, so they barely need to move to get attention. We’ve started to bring them out of the pen for playtime, and they are starting to wrestle and play a little. They’re slowly becoming more interested in toys and the world around them. They’re all healthy and doing well, and they’re starting to focus more on us humans, slowly bonding with us. They’re all done with their daily bio-sensor steps, and now that they can hear, we do sound conditioning every day to get them really comfortable with “scary” sounds like thunderstorms, fireworks, vacuums, blenders and more. They also have a daily bath and we’ve introduced them to the blow dryer several times, for more conditioning. We want to have them experience as much as we can before they enter their first fear phase, anywhere from five to seven weeks of age. They’re doing great! Here are the photos we took of them this week at three weeks old.

March 10, 2025 – Daisy and Oakley’s puppies are doing very well. They’ve continued to gain weight, and mostly just sleep, but today we captured some photos of them with their eyes open! Daisy continues to be a great mama, very concerned about them always, and stays close by. The pups have been going through their bio-sensor steps each day and we also give them massages and warm baths. We’ll post a video of their bath time on Instagram so you can see how much they enjoy it. Touch is still our main way to connect with them, so all of our “hands on” time is very important. Here they are at a little over two weeks old. From here on, we’ll try to post weekly updates and photos. We themed this litter our Easter litter, because they will be going home Easter weekend. We’re excited about Bunny (our only girl), Jelly Beans (Beans) and Peep!

March 1, 2024 – We have three new little babies here that arrived a week ago! Daisy and Oakley’s puppies arrived on February 22 and we have two boys and one girl. All with cute white markings. Mama is doing great and as soon as she saw her babies, her natural mother instincts kicked in and she has hardly left their side since. She’s super attentive to them and nurses them, it seems, about 23 hours a day!
We typically wait at least several days to announce the litter, as we always want to make sure all the pups are healthy and thriving before notifying their new families. As we expected, each pup is doing well and has gained about an ounce each day. They’re healthy and plump! Daisy is calm, quiet and gentle around them and her temperament is surely going to play a big role in the temperament of her puppies.
We’ve already started the bio-sensor steps with them daily, and they get a warm bath each day, along with lots of massaging. This is all the earliest, and perhaps the most important stage of conditioning their temperaments for life! The biosensor steps are the most critical step of anything breeders do for a litter, and it is done from day 4 or 5 until around day 18. Here are the pictures we took of the puppies so far! We’ll update this blog spot weekly, and also we’ll post videos on our Instagram account as they start to become more active. We’re very excited for this litter, Daisy and Oakley’s first time being parents.
